Devlog #3 – Regional Map Update, Save System & New Content Progress

✅ Regional Map Core System

The foundation of the Regional Map is now complete!
Players can now select available regions and transition smoothly between scenes. This is going to be the central hub of gameplay in the full demo — expect a lot of strategic choices to happen here.

💾 Persistent Data

Implemented a basic squad deployment, resource management and playing process memory system across scenes using Unity’s ScriptableObject system.
This might sound small, but it’s a big leap — it lays the groundwork for full Save/Load functionality. Your squad’s loadout, status, and assignments will stay consistent between missions.

🌍 Four New Regions Added

Added four initial regions for the demo version. These areas will serve as the first real testing ground for the game’s mission system and encounter variety. Each region has its own layout and role within the narrative structure.

📝 Early Narrative Content

Introducing the first pieces of story content. Nothing is final yet — but the tone and themes are coming together. Expect more narrative integration in the next few updates.
