The 3-Phase Framework
Phase 1 : Architecture & Discovery (Pre-Production)
Before a single line of code is written in the engine, we treat your game as a commercial product that requires a solid blueprint. This phase mitigates structural risks and aligns our technical execution with your product vision.
- GDD & Vision Audit: We review your Game Design Document (GDD) or core game concepts to evaluate technical viability and establish clear project boundaries.
- System Architecture Blueprint: We map out the entire technical framework on paper, defining the decoupled C# script architecture, modular systems, and scene management layout to ensure a highly optimized codebase.
- Production Roadmap & Transparency: We establish a dedicated development log, set up the version control repository, and construct a detailed daily calendar schedule. This calendar gives you complete visibility over our daily objectives and realistic timelines.
Note : This upfront architecture and consultation phase is valued at a flat fee of US$ 250 for new client projects.
Phase 2: Disciplined Execution (Production)
Once the blueprint is mutually agreed upon, we transition into the production phase. We work in disciplined, high-intensity development cycles billed in 30-day increments.
- Engine Implementation (Unity): We execute the pre-planned architecture inside the Unity engine, utilizing modular and reusable system designs to ensure long-term stability and scalability.
- Version Control Transparency: The production repository remains under our strict control to ensure code integrity, but you will maintain full access to monitor commits and track real-time technical progress.
- Development Logs (Dev-Marketing Assets): We generate comprehensive development logs as milestones are met. These logs serve a dual purpose: verifying achieved progress and providing ready-to-use content for your public dev-blogs and social media marketing.
Phase 3: Stabilization & Milestone Delivery (Deployment)
We do not deliver half-baked features. The final phase is dedicated to transforming our active production build into a polished, market-ready milestone (MVP or Product Demo).
- Rigorous Testing & Optimization: We perform deep debugging, profile performance metrics, and stabilize the build to ensure it runs flawlessly on target platforms (such as Steam or Mobile).
- Definition of Done (DoDone): Deliverables are cross-referenced with the initial Phase 1 agreement. Features are marked complete only when they meet our strict criteria for a stable, deployment-ready build.
- Handoff & Documentation: Upon completion of the contract term and final milestone sign-off, we provide a clean handoff of the stable build, source code, and clean technical documentation, leaving your project fully prepared for its public release.
Transparent Flat-Rate Pricing
We do not sell volatile hourly blocks or unpredictable estimations. Typetree Studio operates on a transparent, flat-rate retainer model. This ensures you know exactly what your financial investment is from Day 1, giving you complete predictability and peace of mind over your production budget.
GDD Review & Architecture Planning Phase

Process Duration: 5 Business Days (Asynchronous / Document-Based)
How it works: You submit your initial GDD (Game Design Document). Over the next 5 days, we will deeply analyze your design, deconstruct its technical requirements, and formulate a comprehensive 30-day production roadmap.
Deliverables: A detailed Technical Architecture & Development Strategy blueprint.
Note: To maintain absolute focus on system design, this phase is fully asynchronous and conducted entirely via written documentation and text updates—no structural voice calls required.

Invoiced and paid upfront prior to the start of each 30-day development cycle.

Strict Project Boundaries & Scope Control
To protect your timeline and guarantee a successful release, we strictly enforce a No Unlimited Revisions policy. We prioritize clarity and execution over endless iteration cycles that cause project delays.
- Agreed Architecture: All development strictly follows the blueprint and roadmap mutually agreed upon during Phase 1: Architecture & Discovery.
- Milestone Reviews: Revisions are structured and executed at the end of specific milestones, ensuring the core architecture remains stable.
- Change Requests: Any major features or design shifts requested outside the initial agreed scope will be handled transparently via a Change Request. This will either adjust the timeline calendar or extend the monthly contract duration, keeping all adjustments fully visible and fair.
